The European FDM Association (EFDMA) was formed in Vienna, Austria in November 2006. The first President was Dr. Georg Harrer (right) and Christoph Rossmy, D.O. (left) was Vice-President of the organization. At the end of his term, Harrer stepped down as president and Rossmy was elected as the new President of the EFDMA. Congratulations Christoph! Dr. Harrer is a Certified FDM Instructor who has been teaching the FDM in Europe and the UK since late 2001. Rossmy is now certified to teach the FDM and teaches in Germany. Both men trained directly with Dr. Typaldos, including significant time in Typaldos' clinic in Brewer, Maine.

The FAA (FDM Asia Association) was formed in 2005 by Keisuke Tanaka (right) and Kohei Iwata (left). Tanaka is a Certifed FDM Instructor who, in addition to teaching the FDM in Japan, also translated the fourth edition text by Dr. Typaldos into Japanese. Tanaka learned to write and speak English so he would be able to visit Dr. Typaldos in his clinic and attend his courses. Tanaka has come to the US several times for courses and one-on-one clinic time with Dr. Typaldos.

FAA members attended the Inter-Japan Congress in Hokkaido and reported that the meetings went well (2007).

The FAA held a General Meeting in July 2008. They are beginning the process of becoming a non-profit organization. These are all dedicated FDM practitioners in Japan. We are all looking forward to our next International FDM Symposium to be held in Osaka, Japan in September 2009.
