Who can attend the seminars?
Our seminars are open to anyone who is licensed to do manual therapy:
- Chiropractors
- Physical Therapists
- Athletic Trainers
- Occupational Therapists
- Osteopathic Physicians
- Medical Doctors
- Licensed Massage Therapists
Student pricing is available with proof of enrollment.

Do you offer a discounts?
Yes. Below is a list of our discounts:
- We offer a discounted rate to students and graduates (within 12 months of their graduation date) with proof of enrollment or graduation.
- We now offer Echo Seminars for anyone who wants to fine tune their skills. This is for anyone who is already FDM certified who would like to attend one of our seminars. The cost is only $495.
- Group Discounts – We also offer discounts if 2 or more providers from a single location sign up for any of our regional seminars. Please contact us for pricing.
How late can I register?
We close registrations one week prior to the seminar. We recommend registering at least three weeks before the seminar starts to allow adequate time for studying and making travel arrangements.
Do you offer any payment plans?
We are willing to help figure out payment plans that work for you. If you need some assistance just give us a call and we will try to help.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your registration up to 14 days before the seminar. Your registration fee will be refunded less a $200 processing fee. If you need to cancel less than 14 days prior to the seminar you may transfer your registration to another seminar of your choice. We reserve the right to cancel any seminar, in which case the tuition fee will be returned in full. Select Seminar Services is not responsible for any guaranteed airline/hotel reservation. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.
How do I cancel my registration?
Please email us at [email protected] with “Cancel” in the subject line. Please make sure to include your full name, the seminar you registered for and your contact information.
How can I get a price adjustment?
We are happy to offer you a price adjustment based on the following conditions:
- Price adjustments for seminar registrations can only be made within 14 days of your order being placed.
- You’ll receive credit for future seminars.
- Adjustments are made only if the original purchase was made without a coupon code.
Do I receive a certificate for attending the seminar?
Yes, we issue a certificate of completion for attendees.
Can I videotape or record the FDM Seminar?
Attendees may not, under any circumstance, use any type of recording device to capture the information provided at the Seminar. No recording devices, photography or videography is allowed in the Seminar room.
Can I get Continuing Education Credits/Units by attending a seminar?
Continuing education credit (CE) is provided by University of Western States (UWS) License Renewal: While applications relating to credit hours for license renewal in selected states have been executed for these programs, it remains attendees’ responsibility to contact the state board(s) from whom they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approve both venue and content as they relate to any seminar/course/lecture/webinar/online presentation (event). Neither a speaker’s or exhibitor’s presence at said event, nor product mention or display, shall in any way constitute UWS endorsement. UWS’s role is strictly limited to processing, submitting, and archiving program documents on behalf of course sponsors. We are approved by the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) for CEU’s.
FDM is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers.

What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable and breathable athletic wear as attendees will have hands-on training and practice with each other throughout the seminar. We also recommend that you bring a light sweater or a jacket for extra comfort.

Who are you?
The Fascial Distortion Model was developed by Stephen Typaldos, DO. We worked with the Typaldos family to bring the Fascial Distortion Model to all healthcare providers. All of our study material and instruction is based on the Typaldos Method and was developed from his writings, slides, research, images and videos.
We are the only company that has the legal right to teach Fascial Distortion Model in the United States and Canada. Any other company or organization that represents themselves as teaching Fascial Distortion Model is in direct violation of our rights.
