Shawna is a licensed Physical Therapist at Freedom Physical Therapy in Kenai. Shawna was born in Dubuque, Iowa and raised in Johnstown, Colorado. She graduated from Idaho State University in 1999 with a Bachelor in Biology and again in 2002 with a Masters of Physical Therapy.

She specializes in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pediatrics, and chronic pain, and uses manual techniques as well as exercise to reduce pain while working towards increased movement and freedom. Shawna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is active in the community. She enjoys running, golfing, fishing and spending time with her husband and three children.
