Dr. Paul Marando graduated from the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 and moved to Chicago to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001 from the National University of Health sciences. In addition, Dr. Marando earned his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians helping to strengthening his knowledge of sports rehabilitation.
Dr. Marando has a long history of being involved in sports which lead to his interest in physical rehabilitation and current involvement with activities from Olympic weightlifting to cycling. Dr. Marando’s experience has given him the opportunity to work the sidelines from IRONMAN and local running races to weightlifting competition’s and the privilege to work with professional athletes.
Through the years, Dr. Marando has continued to provide individualized care utilizing specialized treatment approaches such as Fascial Distortion ModelTM (FDM), Active Release Techniques® (ART), McKenzie Method®, Graston Technique®, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Kinesio® Taping all combined with corrective rehabilitative exercises. Dr. Marando’s primary goal is to improve biomechanics allowing for a quick return to your active lifestyle.
